Associate Publisher Trina Stewart’s favourite Canadian locale is Quebec City.  Sitting on the St. Lawrence River and rich with Canadian history, Quebec is surrounded with gorgeous landscapes, fine cuisine, and quaint boutiques on narrow streets.  Trina dreams of one day living in the heart of Old Quebec and experiencing its beauty daily.

Our Senior Graphic Designer Cat Haynes’ heart beats for the relaxed and naturally beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia. With stunning views atop Grouse Mountain, walks along the seawall at Stanley Park, ocean kayaking with harbour seals in Deep Cove to cocktails at the Chill Winston Restaurant in vibrant Gastown. It’s no wonder Cat’s heart belongs to British Columbia.

“It’s hard to pick a single favourite destination in Canada” says Cindy McGlynn, Associate Editor.  Cindy loves her Toronto home and their family cottage in Muskoka. Cindy has family on the west coast and will never say no to a chance to drive east through beautiful Quebec to the Maritimes. Still, one local favourite for her family is Sandbanks Provincial park in Prince Edward County. The long, sandy beach is beautiful and delivers some of the best sunsets she’s ever seen. The dunes are great fun, and the whole park is nestled in wine country and picturesque villages of Prince Edward County.

Advertising and Account Executive Cybelle Singer knows that living in Canada means living with winter.  Cybelle loves getting outside with her family in the winter and that includes skiing.  While she loves Whistler, Banff and Mt. Tremblant, her favourite place to get away on weekends in the winter is the Collingwood area.  After a day of skiing, snowshoeing or hiking there isn’t much better than then a glass of wine in front of the fire.

Associate Editor Rachel Naud‘s favourite place to go in Canada is her home province of Manitoba. Winnipeg, believe it or not, is a cultural mecca, full of different food, festivals and entertainment. She also loves to go to Clear Lake in Riding Mountain National Park. Rachel used to go camping there every year when she was growing up and she absolutely adores it. This summer, she is taking her son there for the first time! She can’t wait to share her favourite place with her son, Tristan, and make new memories!
