Le Sling Normand With Calvados Boulard Is An Amazing Weekend Cocktail

As the dog days of summer draws to a close, parents everywhere are preparing for back to school.

Introducing Le Sling Normand cocktail, a perfect cocktail for the last weekend of summer. The warmth of Calvados Boulard Pays d’Auge brandy will provide the warm reassurance you need to succumb to the fact that life, as we know it, has returned to normal.  While we still wish for a few more weeks of summer, the Le Sling Normand’s fruity mixture of lime and pineapple makes this a wonderful cocktail to cap off the final weekend.

Le Sling Normand with Calvados Boulard Pays d’Auge

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Calvados Boulard Pays D’Auge
  • 1/2 oz. Schloss Kirsch
  • 1/2 oz. fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 oz. grenadine
  • 1 oz. fresh pineapple juice
  • Angostura Bitters
  • Club Soda

Method

Shake all ingredients and strain over ice into a rocks glass.  Top with club soda and then add 1/2 oz. grenadine which will settle at the bottom of the glass.  Add 2 dashes of Angostura Bitters.  Garnish with a pineapple leaf, lime slice, and cherry.
