Forbes Names Beyonce 2017 Highest Paid Woman in Music

It can’t be easy being Beyonce, and now that Forbes Names Beyonce the Highest Paid Woman in Music, the pressure is even greater.  Her release of her hit album ‘Lemonade’ and her ‘Formation’ tour earned the R&B singer a whopping 105 Million Dollars.  This is according to the Forbes ‘Highest-Paid Women In Music’ list released on Monday.  As well in 2017, Bey took time off as she and husband Jay-Z welcomed twins Rumi and Sir this summer.

Beyonce out ranked Adele, who scored a mere 69 million dollars.  While Taylor Swift took 3rd place with an income of 44 million dollars in spite of finishing her “1989: World Tour.

Without having any endorsements this year, Adele broke first-week record sales after releasing her “25” album in 2015. She also completed her first major tour since 2011.

Coming in number 4 is Canadian Sweetheart, Celine Dion. Dion’s pre-tax income evaluated at 42 million dollars. The singer faced hardships after taking a break from her Las Vegas residency following the death of her husband Rene Angelil in January 2016

The Forbes list is compiled after estimating pre-tax income from June 2016-June 2017.  It also reviews data from Pollstar, the Recording Industry Association of America and tracking firm Nielsen SoundScan.

Is this a surprise that Beyonce reigns the Forbes list?
