Aleks Susak Blends Tradition, History and Folk Culture in Her New Ready-to-Wear Collection

East meets west in Aleks Susak’s Fall/Winter 2017-2018 collection, filled with flowing, bohemian garments and rich, intricate fabrics inspired by a blend of tradition, history and folk culture. Creative director Aleks Susak also combines classic cuts with edgy rock n’ roll-inspired looks in the collection; all while paying exceptional attention to detail, including individually hand-sewn components.

The label is known for producing ready-to-wear collections with hand-crafted details and made-to-measure silk, hand-painted garments. The rising Canadian fashion label’s pieces have been spotted on notable personalities such as Sophie Grégoire-Trudeau, Jessica Mulroney and Housewives Joan Walker Kelly and Roxy Earle. The line was recently featured in the Real Housewives of Toronto.
